These terms describe the services of analfabeta.pl, payment, refunds and your rights.
1. Who runs the service
- The service analfabeta.pl (the Service) is run by:
Sprzedawca: Michał Szadkowski
Adres: Bluszczańska 74, 00-712 Warszawa
Kontakt: kontakt@analfabeta.pl
The seller operates as działalność nierejestrowana (unregistered business activity under article 5(1) of the Polish Entrepreneurs' Law of 6 March 2018) and therefore has no NIP or REGON (we). - Contact: kontakt@analfabeta.pl.
- If you use the Service as a consumer (a private person, not a business), the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014 (the Act) protects you in full; these terms do not limit those rights.
2. What the Service is, and what it is not
- The Service is an automated tool that, for a fee, explains official letters (ZUS, tax office, court, bailiff, debt collector and others) in the language you choose and, on request, prepares a draft formal reply in Polish.
- Explanations and replies are produced by artificial intelligence (a large language model by Anthropic). No human reads your letter or the result. It can make mistakes: misread a photo, skip a passage, miscalculate a deadline or state a convincing untruth.
- The Service is informational. It is not legal advice. It does not replace a lawyer, a sworn translator or contact with the office that sent the letter.
- Check the result against the original letter before you act. Deadlines are computed automatically from the receipt date you enter and are approximate; the letter and the law govern them, not our calculator.
- The generated reply is a draft: read it, fill in your details, correct errors and sign it. You are responsible for what you send.
3. Services and prices
- Services are one-off, each for one letter; no subscriptions or accounts.
- Full analysis of a letter, 10 zł. You paste the text or upload photos or a PDF, optionally enter the receipt date and choose a language. You get four answers (what the letter is about, whether you must act, by when, what happens if you do not) and the letter rewritten in plain language.
- Ready-to-send reply, 10 zł, offered only after a completed analysis: a draft formal reply in Polish (offices accept letters in Polish), its mirror translation into your chosen language and a PDF file.
- Analysis + reply bundle, 15 zł, bought upfront before the analysis (5 zł cheaper than the two services separately). One payment entitles you to one generation of the analysis and one generation of the reply, for the same letter.
- Prices are gross, in Polish zloty; you see them on the page and at checkout.
4. Ordering and payment
- Stripe (Stripe Checkout) handles payment: BLIK, Przelewy24 or card. You pay once, in advance, with no account.
- Before payment you tick the consent box (point 5.2).
- The contract is concluded when Stripe confirms the payment. Right after you return from the payment page, the Service processes the letter and displays the result once, in the same browser tab.
- Each payment entitles you to one generation of each paid-for service. After a successful generation we mark that service as consumed on the Stripe Checkout Session; in the bundle, the analysis and the reply carry separate marks. If generation fails for technical reasons, you can retry with the same payment, at no extra charge.
- We have no database. The letter exists only in one browser tab's memory (sessionStorage) and vanishes when you close it; a completed analysis is additionally saved locally on your device by your browser (localStorage), so closing the tab does not lose it. None of this reaches us — a result lost on your side cannot be recreated by us (but see point 6); save or print it if you will need it on another device or after clearing browser data.
5. Digital content supplied immediately and the right of withdrawal
- The analysis and the reply are digital content supplied without a tangible medium, immediately after payment. The Act (article 38(1) point 13) excludes the 14-day right of withdrawal from such a contract when four conditions are met cumulatively: you gave express and prior consent to performance before the withdrawal period ends, you were informed that you thereby lose the right, you acknowledged that information, and the trader has provided you with confirmation of the contract on a durable medium.
- So before every payment you must tick a box, unticked by default, that reads: "I want the service performed immediately after payment. I understand that once it is performed I lose the 14-day right of withdrawal." Ticking it is your express and prior consent to immediate performance and your acknowledgement of the information about losing the right of withdrawal.
- Your consent and chosen language are recorded with the payment in the Stripe Checkout Session metadata.
- Until the result is generated you may withdraw: write to us and we refund by the same method within 14 days.
- If the digital content does not conform to the contract, you have the rights in chapter 5b of the Act (conformity, price reduction, withdrawal), which we do not limit.
6. Refunds when the service fails
- We refund the price of a service if the AI could not handle your letter (unreadable letter, file that was not a letter, generation that failed for good, obviously useless result) or if you paid but the result could not be delivered (for example the tab was closed before you returned from payment, or the letter was lost from the browser).
- Write to kontakt@analfabeta.pl with the Stripe payment identifier or the date and amount. We refund within 14 days to the payment method you used. Instead of a refund you may choose a manual analysis by us (a human then reads the letter; we tell you how to hand it over).
- A correct result that is not what you hoped for is not a ground for a refund. We examine every complaint, however (point 7).
- This refund policy does not limit your statutory rights: to complain, or for non-conformity of digital content with the contract (point 5.5).
7. Complaints
- Send complaints (reklamacja) by e-mail to kontakt@analfabeta.pl. State what it concerns, the date, the Stripe payment identifier (if you have it) and what you expect.
- We reply within 14 days of receipt to the address you wrote from; no reply in that time means the complaint is accepted.
- If we accept the complaint, we generate the result again free of charge, reduce the price or refund it in full, depending on your request and the law.
8. Acceptable use
- By uploading a letter you confirm that you have the right to use it (it is addressed to you, or you act with the addressee's consent, for example helping a family member) and that it is not unlawful.
- You must not use the Service automatically (bots, bulk requests, scraping), bypass the one-payment-per-generation rule, resell the service, or create content that is unlawful or infringes third-party rights.
- If you break these rules, we may refuse the service or block access, without prejudice to your rights under paid services.
- Technical requirements: an up-to-date browser with JavaScript and browser storage (sessionStorage and localStorage), and internet access.
9. Intellectual property
- You keep all rights to your letter; you only authorise us to process it as needed to perform the service.
- You may use the generated analysis and draft reply without restriction. We claim no rights to them.
- The Service's texts, layout, marks and code belong to us or our licensors.
10. Liability
- We do not guarantee that an analysis or reply is complete, accurate or sufficient for your matter (point 2.2).
- Our liability for a given service is limited to the price paid for that service.
- The limitation in point 10.2 does not apply to: damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, personal injury, your statutory consumer rights, including for non-conformity of digital content with the contract (chapter 5b of the Act), or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory law.
11. Governing law and disputes
- Polish law applies. A consumer living in another EU country keeps the protection of their country's mandatory rules.
- Consumer disputes go to the court competent under the general rules of the Code of Civil Procedure; with businesses, the court of our seat.
- As a consumer you can use out-of-court dispute resolution (for example the Trade Inspection or a consumer ombudsman); UOKiK keeps the list: uokik.gov.pl. Our participation is voluntary.
- The EU ODR platform closed in July 2025.
12. Changes and final provisions
- We may change these terms for important reasons (law, scope of services, prices, providers, security); the new version appears here with its update date. Paid services follow the terms in force at payment.
- How we process data: Privacy policy.
- The terms are available in Polish, English and Ukrainian; in case of discrepancy the Polish version prevails. Visitors browsing the Service in Spanish or Russian are shown the English text. If a provision is invalid, the rest stay in force.
- These terms apply from 2026-08-26.
